How this app works, where the data comes from, and what you should know before using it.
PepStack is a personal peptide protocol tracker for people who self-administer research peptide cycles. It replaces the spreadsheets, notes apps, and browser tabs that most people use to manage their protocols with a single purpose-built tool.
The core function is protocol management: vial inventory, injection scheduling, bloodwork monitoring, cycle timelines, and compound reference data - all in one place. PepStack supports 57 research peptides including BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, GHK-Cu, Epithalon, Semax, Selank, MOTS-C, and dozens more.
It is not a medical product. It is a personal research management tool designed to bring structure to a space that has historically had very little of it.
Every protocol runs as a cycle in PepStack. You define the compounds, dosing schedule, and planned duration. PepStack tracks the active phase, calculates time remaining, and monitors vial consumption across every compound in the stack.
Injection logging records the compound, dose, administration site, and timestamp for every injection. Frequency patterns are calculated automatically from your log history - you always have a complete record of what was taken and when.
Multiple compounds run simultaneously in a single stack, each tracked independently. A BPC-157 and TB-500 recovery stack, for example, tracks both compounds in one cycle view with separate vial inventory and injection logs per compound.
Bloodwork monitoring is integrated into the core tracking layer. Log results from any standard panel - CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, hormone markers - against your active protocol for trend tracking across cycles.
The AI bloodwork analysis feature submits your lab results alongside your active stack context. It identifies markers outside reference range, correlates them to the compounds you are running, and flags what to watch in your next draw.
Bloodwork images are processed locally. The raw document is never stored on the server - only the extracted marker values are synced to your account.
PepStack has three AI-powered features: stack analysis, stack building, and AskPep - a research assistant for compound-specific queries.
All three use your actual protocol data as context. Instead of describing your stack in a general AI chat, the analysis runs against your real data: your compounds, doses, bloodwork markers, and goals. AskPep answers compound-specific questions with PubMed references linked inline so you can verify every claim against the source paper.
Stack analysis evaluates your current protocol for compound synergies and potential concerns. Stack builder generates a protocol recommendation from a goal description. AskPep is on the Pro plan. Stack analysis and stack building are available on the free plan.
PepStack includes 57 curated protocol templates spanning recovery, performance, cognitive, metabolic, and longevity goals. Each template is built around established compound combinations with dosing rationale included.
Templates are a starting point, not a prescription. You can load any template, adjust doses and frequencies, add or remove compounds, and save it as your own protocol.
The compound library includes reference data for every supported peptide: typical dosing ranges, half-life, administration route, tier-rated evidence strength - from clinical evidence down to observational - and compound-specific notes sourced from published research.
PepStack uses Clerk for authentication. You can sign in with an email address or a Google account. Profile data - weight, goals, health notes - is optional and stored only to give the AI features better context.
Stack data, vials, injection logs, and bloodwork markers are synced to a private server-side database tied to your account. Only you can access your data. No data is used for advertising and none is sold to third parties.
Your data is stored in two places: locally in your browser, and in a private server-side database. When you sign in, PepStack pulls the latest version of your data from the server so your records are available on any device. Every change syncs automatically in the background.
There is no manual save step. Changes are pushed immediately and silently.
A significant portion of the compounds in this app have limited published human data. For many research peptides, the existing evidence comes from animal studies, small Phase 1 or Phase 2 human trials, or large bodies of community-reported experience rather than controlled clinical research.
No AI can tell you with certainty what a novel compound combination will do in your body. PubMed references are linked directly so you can read the source material yourself. If a claim matters to your decision making, read the paper.
PepStack is provided for educational and research reference purposes only. Nothing in this application constitutes medical advice, and it should not be used as a substitute for professional medical guidance.
Research peptides are not approved for human use in most jurisdictions. Their long-term safety profiles are not fully established. If you are making health decisions, speak to a qualified medical professional who is familiar with your full history.
